News and Updates Asian Trails | Q2 2026<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Dear Pulse reader,<\/p>\n

It is my pleasure to bring you a selection of updates from Asian Trails.<\/p>\n

In June we welcomed our regional Managing Directors and esteemed guests Mahesh Iyer and Debasis Nandy from Thomas Cook India to join our AGM in Bangkok<\/span><\/strong><\/a>. Although more low-key than usual, a series of meaningful meetings and insightful presentations from key departments was sandwiched between delightful dinners, including an evening cruise on the Chao Phraya with colleagues from Asian Trails Thailand.<\/p>\n

April saw the opening of our fifth office in Indonesia on the island of Lombok<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, providing us wonderful support and expertise in a location that continues to grow in popularity. Representatives from the regional Tourism Office, the Association of the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies and the Indonesian Tour Guides Association, alongside valued industry partners, came together for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.<\/p>\n

In other corporate news, we have made great strides to implement a series of technical updates, firstly on our B2B Cloud Tariff system and also within internal IT systems to enhance security. Our new CRM is also in the implementation stage, with go-live achieved in several areas across the company. We recently interviewed former Thomas Cook India’s Senior Vice President, IT Applications and current Asian Trails CTO Sushil on the recent developments, with a look to future plans. Our teams have also been hard at work developing and evolving sales tools for our clients, especially video content and new brochure lines. We’ve updated many of our excellent Explore brochures\u00a0 <\/a><\/span><\/strong>and<\/a>\u00a0Leisure presentations<\/span><\/span>, adding video links for activities to help our clients understand our products better, and enable them to use the content for their onward B2C sales.<\/p>\n

We have also begun implementing AI translations (keeping ‘humans in the loop’ to verify), and produced ES<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, IT<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, FR<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, DE <\/strong><\/span><\/a>& CN <\/strong><\/span><\/a>versions of our MICE Collection brochure<\/span><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

In July we also completed the first of a new series of multiday brochures, “Parcours sur mesure<\/span><\/strong><\/a>” dedicated to the French market, in FR. The range will soon extend to other markets and destinations.<\/p>\n

In China, our team just received Travelife Partner status<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, the 8th unit of Asian Trails to achieve the certification.<\/p>\n
