In our organisation Women’s Day is more than just a date on the calendar — it is a celebration of strength, resilience, and the spirit of equality that defines our workplace culture. This year, we continued our tradition of honouring the incredible women who form the backbone of our organisation. With an environment where respect, inclusion, and opportunity are not just values but everyday practice, Women’s Day was celebrated with energy, colour, and heart.
The office buzzed with enthusiasm as the day unfolded with a series of engaging and thoughtful activities. The workplace was adorned with cheerful purple and white balloons — colours symbolising dignity and equality — setting the perfect tone for the occasion.
Female employees arrived dressed in shades of pink and green, adding vibrancy and unity to the celebration.
This year’s theme — “Being Limitless!” — captured the essence of what Women’s Day stands for at our company: recognising the potential, passion, and power that women bring to every space they inhabit. The day was thoughtfully curated with a mix of fun, learning, and empowerment.
One of the most impactful elements was a series of inspiring stories shared by our incredible women employees on the company’s Facebook page. Their words reflected not only personal journeys but also the strength and confidence nurtured in a supportive workplace.
At the office, practical empowerment took centre stage with an on-site self-defence training session that was both informative and energising. Health and wellness were also given priority with a breast cancer awareness webinar, and a basic health check-up camp — thoughtful initiatives that reinforced how much the company cares for its women’s physical and emotional well-being.
Adding to the festive and inclusive vibe at Marathon, Mumbai, was a lively flea market, where women entrepreneurs from outside the organisation were invited to set up pop-up stalls. This not only created a space for interaction and celebration, but also supported women-led small businesses, perfectly aligning with the spirit of the day.
From vibrant decorations in purple and white to pop-up stalls, themed attire in pink and green, and even health check-ups specially arranged for our women employees — the day was filled with moments of joy, bonding, and empowerment. It reminded us all that when women are supported and uplifted, workplaces thrive. As we wrapped up the celebrations, there was a shared sense of pride — in our company’s commitment to its women, and in being part of a culture that celebrates them every day, not just on Women’s Day!
