As I write this first note from my desk to you, I am filled with mixed emotions. Having been on the other side reading the message from all my past bosses, it feels surreal sending a similar message from this side of the fence!
The journey has been both enriching and rewarding. I want to start by thanking Madhavan for his unwavering support and confidence in me to lead this great company and carry on the rich legacy that he left behind for me to continue. Thank you SIR!
The recent months has been one of the most volatile, given the events that happened domestically and worldwide with global trade being reset. Despite the headwinds, your pursuit to excellence in providing a great customer experience, and the resilience of our business and geographical spread, allowed us to navigate and post a good set of results for Q1FY2026. India’s macros are strong and our progression to the 3rd largest economy in the next few years will be driven by a lot of Domestic demand, and our ability to seize this opportunity will determine how quickly we can grow our domestic portfolio multifold.
AI is redefining a lot that is happening in many industries, and the Travel & Tourism industry is no exception. The one thing that will not change with AI is how we make our customers feel. It is upon each one of us to ensure that our customers become the biggest advocacies of the brand. I request each one of you to please hold every customer close to your heart and treat him/her well, as this is what truly defines the journey from good to great. Let us make that happen!
