Thomas Cook (India) Ltd. played a very pivotal role for a prominent event, the Seventh Session of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) Assembly, which was held from 3rd-6th November 2024, at the Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
This prestigious global event brought together high-level dignitaries, including Shri Pralhad Joshi, India’s Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, and ministers and national focal points from 120 member and signatory countries, showcasing a strong commitment to international cooperation in advancing renewable energy solutions.
The primary objective of the assembly was to enhance collaboration among member nations to drive solar energy adoption, and address critical global challenges related to energy access, sustainability, and climate change. Key discussions focused on fostering innovation, increasing investments in renewable energy projects, and promoting solar technology advancements to accelerate the transition to a sustainable future.
Thomas Cook India Ltd. was chosen to ensure that the event was organized smoothly and efficiently. It was a Herculean task, which involved coordinating with the ISA Secretarial Office, Registration Management, venue management, seating arrangement country-wise, not to mention also handling the VIP arrivals from the ceremonial lounge! In addition to this, we had to provide adequate audio-visual facilities, a special airport counter, and a site visit with the Police Protocol Officer.
Attention was given to the minutest detail to ensure this mammoth task was executed perfectly, under the leadership of Raju Mane – Associate Vice President, MICE & Exhibitions . It meant involving 40 Tour Managers and 120 Liaison officers.
It was a proud achievement for our Company!
