Knowing how true this is,<\/span> on January 30th 2018, SOTC hosted an event for all its staff, to celebrate its 70th anniversary!\u00a0 It was broadcast live across all branches and offices, ushering in the celebrations. Attended by a large\u00a0number of Management staff and employees, the event was not only about revelry, but also a nostalgic trip down memory lane, looking back at SOTC\u2019s history,\u00a0 sharing quotes and recollections from\u00a0 the last 70 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nishant Kolgaonkar, Head of HR,\u00a0 set the tone for the evening speaking about the Brands legacy and the values that SOTC stands for.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vishal Suri, MD SOTC, then addressed the audience, and thanked his team and the Management Council members for their joint efforts in leading SOTC.\u00a0 He acknowledged their\u00a0contribution, which\u00a0has gone a long way\u00a0\u00a0in putting SOTC\u00a0where\u00a0it is\u00a0today, and where\u00a0it will be tomorrow. He went on to highlight the milestones through the years, and SOTC\u2019s pioneering achievements in redefining Travel for its Customers. He took the opportunity to thank employees for their support in making SOTC a leading Travel & Tourism Company. He concluded citing SOTC\u2019s Shared Purpose with employees-\u00a0 “To Inspire People to Explore the World and Create their Best Memories with us through Co-Created Travel Experiences.”\u00a0\"FOR<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Later, the staff\u00a0watched inspiring videos of the organization and customer\/ client testimonials that brought to light the journey of SOTC and its rich heritage, the many milestones achieved,\u00a0 and the operational excellence and customercentricity at SOTC.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A Few of SOTC\u2019S oldest employees in terms of tenure, reminisced about the days gone by, and their personal and professional\u00a0experiences with the company through the years.<\/span><\/p>\n

The evening\u00a0was rounded off with a “sweet”\u00a0 moment\u00a0when Vishal Suri cut the celebratory cake with the eldest and youngest employee at SOTC flanking him,\u00a0symbolising\u00a0the past and the future of SOTC! The event truly created a sense of nostalgia.\u00a0Everyone present there that evening\u00a0was filled with\u00a0immense pride and affection; and a sense of belonging that they were\u00a0 sharing the\u00a0great journey of\u00a0 SOTC, and all it stood for.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
