\"IMG_7876<\/a>The Finance Team at Thomas Cook India had its much awaited offsite in Pune, and the team had the most enriching and fun filled time during those two memorable days in February, 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n

Know your self, know your colleagues, know your customers\u2019 expectations, and embracing technology, were the key objectives of this offsite. The sessions were the start of <\/span>a journey which would work\u00a0 towards a sustainable achievement of these objectives.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Our Execom members, who are the internal customers of the finance function, spent time with the team, motivated them and spelt \u00a0out their expectations. \u00a0Thank you, dear Execom. Your presence meant a lot to the participants.\u00a0 A maha-introduction session ensured everyone got to know each other really well.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

The vision of\u00a0 the finance organisation — \u201cdelighting the customers\u201d — was reiterated. On the technology front, the participants took a pledge to imbibe and implement technology in every aspect of their work . \u201cThink work–Think Technology\u201d is the mantra of finance people now.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"FINANCE<\/a>The L&D session conducted by the HR team was very effective in sparking thought processes that aim to bringing about cohesiveness, team work, empathy making one realise the importance of effective communication.\u00a0 KRA 2018, in sync with the company\u2019s objectives were rolled out.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Jyotsna Sharma, CFO, Sandvik Asia was invited as a guest speaker and she gave us a completely different perspective to the emerging finance role. What an inspiring, awakening and enriching hour that was.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"20180224_113532<\/a>The achievers in 2017 from finance, for various functions, were felicitated on award night. The various categories included consistency, process simplifier, customer service, team, innovation, knowledge sharing, cost saving, compliance, go getter, business partner, income maximiser etc. <\/span><\/p>\n

Gala nights are always popular and the team forgot\u00a0 finance for a bit as they let its hair down, everyone enjoying themselves!
