Luxe Asia was founded in 2009, by its dynamic CEO & MD Chaminda Dias with an investment from Expolanka PLC, a diversified conglomerate in Sri Lanka. He turned it from a zero base and 2 staff, to the entity it is today, with 48 Staff, and a strong presence in Sri Lanka, Maldives and Dubai servicing multiple source markets.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"IMG-20171011-WA0002\"<\/a>Initially the company was based in the WTC under the purview of the Expolanka group. Then as Luxe Asia grew, the Galle Face Group acquired the company in 2013. Due to its rapid expansion the office was moved to Vauxhall Street to cater to the ever growing demand for our services in the Destination Management Industry. Then in 2015 we were bought over by Thomas Cook India.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to\u00a0 the immense support given by the parent company Luxe Asia today has grown into a sizable operation, with so many guests sourced from major markets such as the UK, France, Spain, Middle East, India and the US, as well as Japan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Completing eight years was certainly a reason to celebrate. The\u00a0 anniversary was marked with a simple, but meaningful ceremony at the office. The proceedings were enhanced by the presence of\u00a0 Mahesh Iyer, CEO Thomas Cook (India) Ltd. Our CEO & MD Chaminda traced Luxe Asia’s incredible journey,\u00a0 and Mahesh addressed the staff on this occasion as well. It was a memorable day\u00a0 for the members of the Luxe Asia family.<\/span><\/p>\n

The CEO and staff look forward to a bright future. We hope to establish ourselves as an outstanding specialist for Sri Lanka, and we are confident we can do so with the support of Thomas Cook, and in synergy with SITA Lanka!<\/span><\/p>\n
