COL has been awarded Madhya Pradesh destination training by the MP StateTourism Development Corporation Ltd. Trainings were conducted in August \/ September in 20 cities across India to \u00a0627 travel agents. This is the first \u00a0of its kind tie-up with a domestic state tourism body for COL. The training was implemented in the following cities: Kolkatta, \u00a0Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, Surat, Nagpur, Pune, Nasik, Goa, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Noida, Gurgaon, New Delhi, Lucknow ,Varanasi, Raipur and Mumbai. \u201cExplore Madhya Pradesh\u2019\u2019 is a half day \u00a0focussed training on the UNESCO \u00a0World Heritage sites, wildlife sanctuaries, tourist circuits besides the pilgrimage centres that MP has to offer. At the end of the training, the participants had an evaluation, and the top 2 lucky winners\u00a0in each city were hosted for a 2 nights\/ 3 days hotel stay by MP State Tourism Development Corporation Ltd.<\/span><\/p>\n

While the government is taking efforts to harness Madhya Pradesh\u2019s tourism potential, it is imperative to create an awareness programme on diversified tourism products available within the destination. Madhya Pradesh is full of natural beauty with 3 World Heritage sites, its\u00a0\u00a0 Pilgrimage, Wildlife and Heritage. The idea of this training is to spread awareness about the tourism Product of MP to travel agents across India. Our collaboration with Thomas Cook India\u2019s COL is one such initiative via \u2018Explore Madhya Pradesh\u2019 which we are very excited about.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
