At the close of 2022, it was time to reflect on our activities and achievements over the past year. The removal of global travel restrictions enabled a return to face-to-face meetings at leading international travel trade shows, such as WTM in London.<\/span><\/div>\n

Asian Trails used WTM to showcase the <\/span>launch of our state-of-the-art B2B connectivity platform eConnect<\/a>. We now provide fast and extensive hotel reservations, transfers, tours and excursions at the click of a mouse.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

Through a new partnership with travel industry technology provider 11Infotech, we are now able to connect with multiple channel managers. This has provided us with a new window of opportunity to offer hotels that give us both dynamic and static rates. Consequently, Asian Trails remains competitive for short-time lead periods and last minute bookings, as well as for longer lead booking windows. Furthermore, we can now offer instant online booking payments to our suppliers by automatically generating virtual credit cards.<\/p>\n

Our customers now benefit from accessing competitive dynamic real-time rates, including exclusive promotions that can be seamlessly combined with our other services \u2013 a big step for our online distribution.<\/p>\n

Besides the launch of eConnect, WTM London was also a significant event for us as we received an award for our accessible tourism products<\/a> under the category \u2018Access for the Differently-Abled: as Travellers, Employees and Holidaymakers\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

For our industry to be fully inclusive and to enable families to travel together it needs to ensure access for all, including those with different abilities. Our most recent initiative is the development of our new<\/span> \u2018Accessible<\/span> Trails\u2019 wheelchair-friendly tours and excursions across Thailand.<\/span><\/div>\n

The last year also saw the renewal of our Travelife partner status \u2013 the leading global sustainability certification for the tourism sector. To give back to host communities, our staff embarked on some admirable CSR activities, such as planting mangroves in Thailand and tree seedlings in Cambodia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In product, we\u2019ve invested our time in reviewing and renewing where required, and introduced various new responsible travel options, such as E-Vehicles In Thailand<\/a> For transfers and excursions. We\u2019ve unveiled new SIC itineraries In Vietnam<\/a>, as well as new ways to explore Kinabalu National Park In Malaysia<\/a> and a island hopping experience In Singapore<\/a>, to name but a few.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0We look forward to blazing more exciting trails across Asia in 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n
