\"Abraham-2\"<\/a> \"Abraham-2\"<\/a>\"Abraham-2<\/a>Abraham Alapatt<\/strong> has been the CEO of the Fairfax India Charitable Foundation (FICF),<\/strong> since its inception.<\/p>\n

He manages its operations with a very small team \u2013 which is competently supported and handled by Himanshu Dave.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Abraham’s responsibilities include all operating management duties, managing the statutory, audit and regulatory requirements, dealing with Trustees and external donors to raise funds, initiate projects and ensure timely reporting of fund utilization, and CSR impact.\u00a0 It also entails liaising with\u00a0 Government officials at both the State and Central level (across 25 states), and also connecting with multiple hospital\/centres, and independent dialysis service providers, as well as the manufacturer\/supply partner for the dialysis machines themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

FICF is part of Thomas Cook\u2019s CSR programme.\u00a0 As an 80G & 12AA registered Charitable Trust, we now channel the CSR focus, efforts and funds across the TCIL Group to \u00a0make the most effective and efficient use of the resources<\/span><\/p>\n

The Fairfax India Charitable Foundation supports the Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Programme (PMNDP) through a unique Public Private Partnership model that harnesses government infrastructure, private sector expertise and financial support from corporates and individuals.<\/span><\/p>\n

FICF, in this short span, has come a long way and will complete well over 70% of this target by 2021-22E.<\/span><\/p>\n
