They were given resourceful options to <strong>improve cash conservation<\/strong> and realign with renewed business needs.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">With zero inflow of tourists, we redirected our focus on local populace and started <strong>delivering immersive imaging experiences<\/strong> rather than souvenir solutions. We created imaging programs independent of border reopening to target the locals and re-implemented these programs into our core business model.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Leveraging the buzz phrase \u2018Stay at home\u2019, we created At-home portrait solutions<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"http:\/\/pulseonline.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-12860\" src=\"http:\/\/pulseonline.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/3.jpg\" alt=\"3\" width=\"422\" height=\"598\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To truly complete the imaging life-cycle of an individual, we launched an exclusive imaging program targeting maternity, new born and beyond.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"http:\/\/pulseonline.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12861\" src=\"http:\/\/pulseonline.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/5.jpg\" alt=\"5\" width=\"705\" height=\"489\" srcset=\"http:\/\/pulseonline.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/5.jpg 705w, http:\/\/pulseonline.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/5-300x208.jpg 300w, http:\/\/pulseonline.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/5-433x300.jpg 433w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 705px) 100vw, 705px\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">While most companies were detached from their day-to-day operations, we were entirely ingrained into our core business functions. With all attractions closed during the lockdown, everyone in the management team contributed towards <strong>Project Darwin &#8211; our Zero Based Budgeting exercise.<\/strong><strong style=\"font-size: 1.8rem;\">\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Rather than downsizing, we <strong>opted for rightsizing<\/strong>. Especially when it is propelled by the spirit of a great team like ours. Be it 2008 or 2014, economic challenges have never deterred DEI, as it <strong>always bounces back<\/strong> from the abyss, such is the amount of resilience entrenched in DEI\u2019s DNA.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It is with this positive conviction\u00a0we shall resurrect ourselves and grow even bigger in stature. Do give a couple of examples\/illustrations.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To capitalize on the resources we had, who were idle due to slowdown of regular business, we launched an<strong> internal initiative to find hidden talents<\/strong>, specialized in portraits and professional photography. We received a phenomenal response to the callout and found good resources within the company, who were otherwise engaged in day-to-day point and shoot imaging. These resources were <strong>assimilated to leverage new revenue streams<\/strong> like at-home portraits and resort portraits.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We launched a new health care vertical \u2013 AceGuard to service the PPE requirements in the market. Staff trained in handling cameras were now <strong>operating high-end machines<\/strong> that produced masks. By just remote assistance, the entire heavy machinery was setup by our IT professionals.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>List five words to describe your team.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Resourceful, responsible, reliable, remarkable, result-oriented<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong style=\"font-size: 1.8rem;\">What message would you like to share with your team today?<\/strong><em style=\"font-size: 1.8rem;\">\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The new sun is on the horizon. Even though it\u2019s oft-repeated, change is truly the name of the game. Every industry will go through a disruption, and it\u2019s in our interest to be the one who not only embraces the change but drives it forward. Be radical in our approach and outthink the entire category we operate in.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We need to embody the technological breakthroughs, and emerge out of this pandemic as the leader in imaging services and solutions.
