We were very excited when the TCI Hong Kong bowling team successfully reached the final tournament of the Turkish Airlines World Bowling Tournament after winning the Hong Kong Championship by competing against 26 players from the local travel companies.
Our team represented by Alex Kong, Senior Sales Representative – ESI, Bux Abdul, Sales Representative – Agency Sales, and David Mak, Senior Supervisor – Operations, participated in the final tournament held in Istanbul on 13th May 2017. The team finally finished at 11th place. This was, indeed, commendable considering there were 46 teams from all over the world.
Following the final tournament, a Gala Dinner was hosted by Turkish Airlines at the Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus. Although the World Champion was finally the Prague team, our team members said they really enjoyed their stay, and the challenge and excitement of the tournament. An added bonus was the many friends they made from the other countries. We are very proud of our team and congratulate them!
