Rudrapur is the second branch in Uttarakhand after Dehradun.

1It is an important city in the district of Udham Singh Nagar, and the 7th most populous city of Uttarakhand. It is also known as Mini Hindustan as people from all states are found here. Since the establishment of the State Industrial Development Corporation of Uttarakhand (SIDCUL), the city has undergone rapid development, along with literacy growth and higher employment.

It is primarily a student market. The city has an average literacy rate of 75%, higher than the national average of 59.5%.
