The cruise segment is a high growth opportunity, especially from an Indian market context, a key player as we head towards revival and growth of the overall travel and tourism sector.
In acknowledgement of the significant contribution of Thomas Cook India, and to strategize on opportunities and the way forward for the Singapore Cruise business in India, a special networking dinner event was hosted at theTaj Mahal Palace Hotel, Mumbai on 15th May, by Nalini and Vasundhara Gupta from Costa Cruises (India).
It was a matter of pride to know that Thomas Cook India was the only tour operator invited for the event. We were represented by Rajeev Kale – President & Country Head, Holidays, MICE, Visa, Neeraj Singh Dev – Senior Vice President, E- business & Short Haul Holidays, and Vrushali Dalvi – General Manager, Leisure Travel – Outbound.
Also present were industry experts, including GB Srithar – Regional Director, India, Middle East & South Asia, Singapore Tourism Board, along with his team, and Paul Chong – Vice President, Carnival Corporation, Singapore.
