Thomas Cook Continues Expansion Drive – Opens Six New Consumer Access Centres In Addition To The Previously Opened Centres, This Year

While Thomas Cook continues to witness a growing demand from metros, there has been tremendous growth from mini metros, tier 2 and 3 markets, as well. To tap the under-leveraged yet high potential of these markets, Thomas Cook has continued its expansion drive to increase ease of customer access across various cities and emerging markets within the country. Recently, Thomas Cook India has enhanced its distribution with the inauguration of 6 new outlets (4 GCP + 2 Airport Counters) in India. This leads to a total of 12 new consumer centres that have been inaugurated since the  start of 2018.

Gold Circle Partners

Shimla, Himachal Pradesh – 26th March, 2018: Thomas Cook India inaugurated its first franchise ‘Gold Circle Partner’ outlet at Shimla Himachal Pradesh, inaugurated by Sh. Suresh Bhardwaj Ji, Honourable Education Minister, HP.

Opera House, Mumbai – 30th March, 2018:  . Mumbai continues to feature as a top and growing source market for its holiday busines. A new franchise ‘Gold Circle Partner’ outlet was inaugurated at Opera House by Rajeev Kale,  Daksh Sharma and Anoop D’Souza.

Panchkula, 5th April, 2018: This Year Thomas Cook also strengthened its presence in North India with the inauguration of the first franchise ‘Gold Circle Partner’ outlet at Panchkula, Haryana, inaugurated by Sh. Manbir Singh, Honourable IPS Deputy Commissioner of Police Panchkula, Haryana.

Ghaziabad, 23rd April, 2018:  Thomas Cook strengthened its presence in North India with the inauguration of the first franchise ‘Gold Circle Partner’ outlet at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, inaugurated by  Romil Pant. Thomas Cook selected Nehru Nagar, a prime residential locality in Ghaziabad providing the company with a viable catchment of consumers across families, young professionals and students.

Forex Airport Counters:

Varanasi Airport, 7th March, 2018: Thomas Cook identified the state of Uttar Pradesh as a significant growth market for its Foreign Exchange business and to leverage this opportunity, has opened two new counters at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Varanasi. The outlets were inaugurated by  Anil Kumar Rai – Airport Director in the presence of Shouvik Chatterjee and Amit Gupta, Associate Vice Presidents of Thomas Cook India’s Foreign Exchange business.

Madurai Airport, 12th April, 2018: Tamil Nadu has seen significant growth and is a market for its Foreign Exchange business and to leverage this opportunity, our Company has opened two new counters at Madurai International Airport. The outlets were inaugurated by  V. V. Rao – Airport Director, in the presence of  C. Vinoth Kumar, General Manager and  Sajimon Joseph, Senior Manager of Thomas Cook India’s Foreign Exchange business.
