The Thomas Cook India Archives – Treasuring Our Company’s History

If any of you know of staff or ex-employees who might have information in the way of manuscripts, photographs,  books,  artefacts, memorabilia or mementos from the past, which are strongly related to Thomas Cook, do get in touch with us. Send us names, dates, milestones.

We are happy to announce that we have started building and developing the Archives of Thomas Cook India.  We have a rich and glorious tradition, which we felt should be recorded. We would like to acquaint our staff with our entrepreneurial journey; our significant achievements through the years, and the major milestones that have led to where we are today.

Our MD Madhavan Menon believes that Archives are a way of understanding our corporate culture, and maintaining the values that have made Thomas Cook such a leading, well-known and respected brand.

Preserving the company’s history creates a reliable internal information system. It manages the information and significant records concerning a company’s key strengths.  Historic preservation is an important way for us to transmit our understanding of the past to future generations.

We are still in the process of collecting, sorting, collating, and organising what we hope will be an interesting history of our company.  We will tell you more about it as it progresses.

If you find something relevant, interesting and worth preserving, do connect with either:

Abraham.Alapatt@thomascook.in
Navaz.Bacha@thomascook.in
Zarine.Wadia@thomascook.in

We look forward to making this project interesting and meaningful. Come be a part of this exciting journey .
