The Operations Team: A Series of Successes


The year 2016 has seen a stable growth for the Operations Team at SOTC in terms of its pax count and turnover. With the structural changes and a new operating process in place, all Non-Standard queries were sent to the respective Team Leaders for scrutiny, before being cascaded to the respective down-the-line team members for processing. Gaining access to pan-India requirements has helped the core Operations team in understanding different regional requirements, and has made it more confident about shaping individual potential to the maximum. An introduction to the D-7 concept for file closures has given team members enough scope to plan their work well in advance and has also taken away a lot of the season load pressure.  Moreover, enough time was available to check handovers, and make necessary changes if required.  The team also experienced handling pre-paid inventory for Air & Land with zero liability.
