2018 marks another successful year for Travel Circle International!
As we approached the end of 2018, it was time again for the whole Travel Circle International (TCI) team to gather together for the Team Building Day and the Annual Appreciation Dinner, held in Xiamen, China.
Being among the first in town to take the newly launched High Speed Train to the Southern part of Mainland China was quite a unique experience for most of the staff in Hong Kong!
Following the strict directions of the Team Building Instructor, the TCI staff was grouped into several competing teams and managed to complete a few challenging tasks which demanded a high degree of communication, co-operation and creativity among the team members. Madhavan Menon, Chairman & MD, Thomas Cook India Ltd. was there too to give his full support and encouragement to the TCI team. (See if you can spot him!)
The highlight of the team building day was having all the team-mates holding onto a rope forming a huge circle, until it became such a solid line that a staff member could even walk on it. It certainly helped to demonstrate that joint effort makes a strong team!
The Annual Appreciation Dinner commenced with the management expressing its appreciation for the dedication and hard-work of all the staff through the year. It was also pointed out that following the ‘3 C’s’ was the best practice at work, namely, Connect, Communicate and Converge. It had inspired all of us to stay competent and to cope with the many business challenges that came our way. TCI is not only the short form of the company name but also reminds us that Together we Create the Incomparable!
