Sterling Holiday Resorts Unveils New Wildlife Resort in Pench National Park

Sterling Holidays has recently announced the opening of their new wildlife resort in Pench National Park, the inspiration for Rudyard Kipling’s iconic ‘The Jungle Book’. The Sterling Padam Pench resort, spread across five acres of wooded lands, is strategically located near the Turiya Gate, the entrance of the Pench tiger reserve, and offers a variety of stay experiences including 22 premier rooms, cottages, mud houses, wooden chalets, and tree houses, all inspired by the local art and architecture.

The resort is designed to offer guests an immersive experience, with unique features inspired by local art and architecture such as thatched roofs, a mud-house enclave with a chaupal setting in the center, earthen chulas, tribal art on the walls, and true jungle living with high rise machans. The resort also features 4 independent villas with plunge pools and a luxurious 4-bedroom, 2-storey pool villa with an exclusive swimming pool, private courtyard, and personalized butler service.

Guests can explore the jungle with the help of the resort’s resident naturalist who provides in-depth insights into the local flora, fauna, and wildlife. The resort also offers a range of activities such as safari rides and guided nature walks, allowing guests to get up close and personal with the natural beauty of the Pench forest.

Alikatta, the resort’s signature restaurant, offers local specialties from the Gondwana region, such as Jhunka Bhakar, Patyod, and a full-fledged Gondwana Thali.

Sterling’s exclusively branded Subuthi Spa offers a range of signature spa therapies for guests to relax and experience serenity on their holiday. The resort also has a swimming pool, indoor and outdoor games, and activities that can engage guests of all age groups, especially children. The resort is also fully equipped to handle incentives, meetings, and destination weddings for up to 500 people, with an indoor banquet space for 200 and open lawns for another 300 people.

Pench is easily accessible by road from Jabalpur or Nagpur in three to four hours. Another option is to go via Bhopal which is approximately 500 km from Pench or Kanha. The nearest bus stand to Pench is Khawasa or Seoni.

With its unique and immersive jungle experience, Sterling Padam Pench offers guests the perfect opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life and reconnect with nature.
