Shreyas Devare, Associate Vice President, Tour Management, Thomas Cook India & SOTC Travel, was specially invited by the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) to be a part of a coveted Travel Mart – “Welcome to Daehakro Festival 2022” (WDF), hosted in Korea.
The ‘Welcome to Daehakro Festival 2022’ was organized to promote the Korean wave (Hallyu) that has influenced the world. WDF ’22 recognized and celebrated the influence of k-pop, k-drama, k-food, k-beauty and k-culture globally, and witnessed the attendance of top dignitaries, destination management companies (DMCs), and leading entertainment companies. Shreyas Devare was invited along with other dignitaries to flag-off the travel mart.
During his visit spanning 6 days, Shreyas experienced and participated in fun activities including dance workshops at professional studios, live theatre shows, and a cruise on the Han River. He also visited key destinations including Pyeongchang – popular for its BTS fame ‘In The Soop’ villa, the Hybe Insight Museum, the World K-pop centre, the Lotte Tower, Namsan Park, Seoul Forest and Myongdong.
