New volunteer programmes at Chengdu Panda Base
Feel like doing something quite different? The renowned Dujiangyan Panda Base in Chengdu, China has developed new volunteer programmes to provide a behind-the-scene opportunity to learn all about the Panda, and the work done by conservationists in bringing these amazing animals back into the wild.
The programme involves closely working with the Chinese staff at the centre where you actively undertake the assigned tasks, from cleaning the enclosures to feeding the pandas.
