On a Salaam Baalak City Walk

Our representative from France, Carole Gallo was here in India on 8th April, 2019 and experienced the Salaam Baalak City Walk in Paharganj.

Salaam Baalak Trust is dedicated to providing a sensitive and caring environment to street and working children in Delhi, India.

Starting this walk at New Delhi Railway Station in the afternoon, Carole met the 18 year old English speaking female guide associated with the trust. The guide spoke about her association with the trust, and how her life had been impacted positively by it. Carole walked across the narrow streets of the Paharganj area and enjoyed the first-hand experience tremendously. The guide had several stories from her life to correlate to the walk. Carole also enjoyed her interaction with the children at the trust after her walk. See how happy they all look in the picture!
