For the last two years Amit Baraskar has been one of the 10-12 judges from Asia for Corporate Treasurer Hong Kong’s CT Awards 2022 + 2023 to recognise the ‘best of the best’ in the Asia Pacific region under these categories:
- Marquee awards – Best CFO, Best Treasurer, Best consultant, Best Treasury team
- House awards – Financial Institutions – Best cash management bank, best Trade Finance bank, best transaction bank
- House awards – Service Providers – Best Asset/ Liquidity management service, best credit rating agency, best Digital innovation, best ESG solution, best software provider
- Best treasury & finance strategies
Now, at the beginning of the year , Amit has been inducted into Editorial Board of this magazine (Corporate Treasurer, an international magazine which covers the entire Asia Pacific region). Amit is the first, and to date, the only person from Indian corporates to make it to this Board. He will represent Corporate India.
With this elevation Amit will have higher responsibilities to handle in the new role. It is indeed an honour, and Thomas Cook takes proprietary pride in Amit’s new appointment. We wish him all the best in this new capacity.
