Giving Back to Society: Asian Trails sponsors ‘Music for Myanmar’
Music for Myanmar’ is an annual charity event and one of the highlights in the capital Yangon to raise money for the less fortunate in the country. Asian Trails Myanmar, as part of its ongoing work to give back to society, is one of the main sponsors for the concert.
The musical event, with the theme “A Starry Night”, took place in September. It featured performances by acclaimed Irish concert artists including trumpeter Niall O’Sullivan and vocalist Shona Henneberry together with local guitarists and singers. The proceeds from the concert have been distributed to support the disadvantaged, deaf and orphaned children in Myanmar.

Thuy Tien, Managing Director of Asian Trails Vietnam, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alexander Leven as the company’s new General Manager. With years of travel experience under his belt, both in his native Germany and Asia, Alexander’s extensive knowledge of the numerous source markets across the globe and his affinity with Asia made him the ideal candidate to blaze new paths in Vietnam travel.
Alexander says it is the little-known corners of Vietnam that will definitely see new products and innovation in touring options to meet the demand of visitors to the country for tranquil destinations.
