The First Overseas Conference, “Investing in the Future” took place on 27th & 28th August 2018, at the Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi. The conference was inaugurated by the Guest of Honour K.J. Alphons, Hon. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Tourism who addressed the audience on Tourism in India.
Longchamp was the beautiful venue at the hotel, which offered stunning views of Delhi for the participants, and of course a stylish set up within. The participants included all the company’s overseas representatives for all three brands. The two day conference provided a platform for each representative to show their respective marketing scenarios, learn about the latest from our perspective, exchange ideas, and of course a personal interaction on both sides. Our special Guest Speakers for the event included Suman Billa-Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tourism Government of India, Vir Sanghvi, Print and television journalist, columnist, and talk show host and Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer- The Indian Hotels Company Limited.
After the conference the participants embarked on experiential tours as per their preference, of Punjab or Nepal, which allowed them to gather first-hand information about the destinations, the hotels and many other factors.
