On 26th January 2018, TCI Hong Kong organized a career talk and retail shop visit for the students and teachers of the Hotel and Tourism Institute (HTI). The HTI is a member of the Vocational Training Council which was set up in 1984, and offers a wide range of hotel and tourism related training programs designed for secondary school leavers in Hong Kong. The Centre’s training program emphasizes both basic theoretical knowledge and practical skills, which lay a good foundation for students to enter their chosen professions.
The event provides an opportunity for the HTI students from the Diploma in Tour Service and Travel Agency Operations to learn more about the services and operations of a premium travel company, and the day-to-day work of a Travel Consultant /Tour Escort, preparing them for their future careers.
