The Business-Schools Partnership Programme hosted by the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC) aims to facilitate direct communication between companies and schools to enhance the secondary schools students’ knowledge of the business world and commerce. It also allows the young generation to have a hands-on experience of life in the corporate world, and prepare for their future careers.
Company Visit and Career Talk
A group of Munsang College students visited TCI Hong Kong’s office on 25th April 2017. The students were given a career talk with an overview of the company and its business operations. Students also learnt about the TCI Hong Kong Trainee Programs which aim to develop young career starters who are passionate about premium travel business for a long term career. Our Retailing Manager, Paul Chan, had shared his working experience as a Travel Consultant/Tour Escort, and the way we work to achieve the company’s brand values – including how to make that “Perfect Moment” happen for Customers. After the career talk, the students toured around the office to understand more about the work-life in the business world.
On the following day, two student ambassadors from Munsang College were given a guided tour to one of our retail shops located in Causeway Bay. They were given the chance to serve as customer service ambassadors for two hours in the shop to experience part of the day-to-day work of a Travel Consultant.
