The Fairfax Foundation initiative owes its success to a man who has tirelessly spearheaded this project since its inception in 2016. He is the person who has been mainly responsible for the success of this huge enterprise.
Meet Himanshu Dave who has dedicated his energy to ensure that maximum people have access to free dialysis through the Foundation all these 5 years.
Himanshu did his general management from IIM, Bangalore, a Masters in Marketing Management from Principal L N Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Mumbai, and Bachelor of Pharmacy from The Bombay College of Pharmacy, Mumbai.
With 31 years of pharma and healthcare experience in leadership roles, and with more than 20 years of in-depth work in the dialysis & transplant space, he was the perfect choice for this mission.
Himanshu says: “My journey on Project Dialysis has been immensely satisfying for me. It has given me the opportunity to work closely with trustees, donors, the ministry of health, the state government, dialysis service providers & dialysis machine manufacturers. The project has been one of the few highly successful public private partnership projects for the Government of India, and I feel privileged to be a part of it.”
