Fairfax India Charitable Foundation has signed an MoU with Rotary in India to put up, in a partnership, free-to-use dialysis machines to serve the underprivileged in government hospitals across the country. To begin with, Fairfax India Charitable Foundation and Rotary would initiate their collaborative partnership to support the state of Maharashtra. The MoU was signed in Mumbai recently between the Foundation CEO Abraham Alapatt, with all the Rotary District Governors representing the state of Maharashtra. Under this MoU the different districts in Maharashtra would work with Fairfax India Charitable Foundation and Rotary would raise 75 per cent of the fund and the Fairfax India Charitable Foundation will support with the rest.
