Desert Adventures and Kanoo Travels officially signed an agreement in February 2024 to establish and operate a new destination management company in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This significant step follows the signing of an MOU last year, setting the stage for a collaborative venture that promises to redefine the tourism landscape in the region. Our CEO, Peter Payet, and COO, Samir Mehta, represented Desert Adventures as the signatories of this agreement, alongside Kanoo Travel Management. Desert Adventures brings a brand honed over 25 years of DMC expertise to the partnership and boasts a solid network of 1500 tour operators spread across 20 source markets.
On the other hand, Kanoo contributes its strong corporate presence in the Saudi market, complemented by its esteemed reputation as one of the largest family-owned companies in the Middle East. Together, we aim to establish a formidable alliance primed for success in the region’s tourism industry by creating one of the most comprehensive destination services companies. This endeavor will not only enhance the tourism offerings in Saudi Arabia but also contribute significantly to the growth and development of the industry.
