Deepesh brings with him 15 years of robust experience across multiple lines of businesses and functions. He has been associated with Thomas Cook India for about 5 years, commencing with the E-Business team, where his primary role was to set up call centre opportunities. Following this, he headed the Company’s Project Management Team, for the last two years, and has been responsible for successfully executing several strategic projects for the Thomas Cook India Group.
Deepesh has completed his Executive Management Program from IIM Calcutta and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel management from IHM, Trivandrum.
When we asked Deepesh what he hoped to achieve in his new role, he said some of the key activities he looked forward to were:
- “To go into the market and understand what the customers need, and then create products/services and its delivery on the basis of their requirement . Innovation and creativity should be the buzz word.
- Customer is the focus and create a Omni channel experience , we should be agnostic to the channel , he should experience the same service. Use of Technology and Analytics key to provide that experience and make informed decisions /strategy
- Need to work/partner more effectively with other verticals of the organisation and share data /best practices .
- Creating a Winning Culture – Strongly Believe that Leadership drives Culture and Culture Drives Performance . This would mean we need to be proactive in retention and nurturing of talent across India.” We wish you success in achieving those objectives, Deepesh.
