The Thomas Cook Group has been conferred with the acclaimed “Best Cash Management Solution – India” in the “The Asset Triple A Treasury, Trade, Supply Chain & Risk Management Awards 2018”. The award was received by the team at a function in Hong Kong. This is towards the Cash Management Solutions (CMS) that the treasury team analysed, shortlisted and implemented through IndusInd Bank with guidance from the Group CFO. This was done through a systematic and professional RFP done for the Group companies in India, and involved about 10-12 banks and quasi-banks, which were evaluated for multiple products and on multiple parameters.
The Asset awards are Asia’s pre-eminent recognition for those who have excelled in their respective industries. All major MNC as well as Domestic private sector banks across Asia participate in these awards, with 4-5 selected nominations from each bank. Out of these only 1 / 2 solutions are finalised at a national level for this recognition. Considering this, the Award is quite an impressive achievement.
