Dear Pulse Reader,
Having returned from ITB Berlin in March, after three busy days of meetings, the consensus from our team is that this year’s trade show was one of the best ever for Asia. The Asia section at the event was bustling with interest – indicating that the tourism sector in our part of the world is bracing for a major increase in visitors.
Our new Explore guides were a major topic of discussion. We have already published brochures on Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia in the first months of 2024. If you’d like to read these new materials, you can find them in the Resources section of our website, or follow these links to view each one directly.

In March we also published our latest Sustainability Report 2023. This online publication provides a comprehensive overview of our drive to make sustainable travel and tourism the norm, not the niche approach, in our products and daily operations. This document, and all Asian Trails’ policies can be found on our website at: https://www.asiantrails.travel/responsible-travel/
Walking the talk, Asian Trails teams also engaged in a variety of CSR actions in Q1, such as supporting Samui’s island community, helping plant coral in Indonesia, while our Laos team have made their office a ‘No Single-use Plastic Zone’.
As mentioned above, it’s been a busy start to what we believe will be a great year for Asia travel, and the news is flowing fast. Here’s a summary of some of the key travel stories in Q1 we’ve been sharing with our clients via our website, Trailblazer and social channels:

With ITB still fresh, our teams are preparing for more opportunities to meet old friends and make new acquaintances at upcoming shows. Our teams were present at DITEX Marseille (3-4 April), ATM Dubai (06-09 May) and IMEX Frankfurt (14-16 May). We looked forward to meeting our group colleagues there.
