Creating an unforgettable ‘money-can’t-buy-experience’ is at the heart of what we do at Thomas Cook M.I.C.E. So when we got a brief to create an experience that’s never been done before, by our most favourite client – Asian Paints, we had to do something unique and unthinkable. We didn’t just charter a flight or a hotel, we chartered an entire village in Austria, Ybbs an der Donau!
A group of 350 guests of Asian Paints, were welcomed by a local village band. The villagers joined in and offered their own cars for the guests to explore the village locales. A group of dancers from the village performed to a folk song. There was a beautiful set-up by the river Danube, where our guests enjoyed a cruise ride, followed by lunch, while dancing to the tunes of Austrian folklore along with the local dancers. We take pride in our curation of the food menu, which was carefully crafted with a mix of Indian and local dishes, and multiple live counters. Finally the Mayor of the town joined in to meet our guests, and thanked them for visiting their town.
Asian Paints was kind enough to make a donation to the town. The Mayor was delighted, and promised to paint a wall that would commemorate the Asian Paints team’s visit. It was an incredible experience for us at Thomas Cook India Limited to curate this unforgettable trip, and we thank Amit Syngle and his team, for giving us this wonderful opportunity to show what we were capable of!
Thanks a lot to my amazing team, who made all of this possible, ably led by Meera Charnalia, supported by Kedar Pradhan, Rahul Shinde, Harshal Zade and the Tour Management team led by Manish Kabre. Finally, a big thank you to Renate Forte of Pegasus Incoming, the brain behind the idea, who made all of this happen. Ybbs an der Donau also happens to be her hometown, so she ensured that the execution was flawless.
