We all know how important it is to get ourselves vaccinated against Corona, and we also know how difficult it can be, to be at the right place at the right time to get that dose! Always taking care of its staff, Thomas Cook arranged for its employees and their families to get their jabs in comfortable surroundings with minimum fuss.
The vaccination agency was the Suvarna Hospital, which was chosen after due diligence, and the vaccination drive was fixed for the 11th of June 2021, at the Thomas Cook Chembur office, Mumbai, from 9.15 a.m to 3 p.m.
The employees were given specific time slots to prevent crowding. The entire procedure was scientifically carried out under strict Covid protocols, and each one could leave 30 mins after the dose.
428 people were vaccinated that day, and all of them were extremely happy and grateful for the convenience and the ease with which it was all carried out. Our thanks to the cooperation of the Suvarna Hospital team for its medical services, and a huge round of gratitude to all the volunteers from our own company who provided yeoman service, to ensure that everything went without a hitch.
It also helped many of the staff to resume work when the back-to-office programme kicked in on 14th June.
