With this objective in mind, the Finance & Accounts teams have embarked on an initiative called ‘Saksham’ which means ‘ Capable’.
The aim is to enhance knowledge and create added awareness concerning our businesses in our teams, and to bring about a more holistic outlook and sharpen skill sets. This is being done through an online test series programme which will include reading material circulated to the team prior to the assessment, and will primarily be based on that. We will cover various topics related to our Company, risk and fraud management, industry practices, apart from those pertaining to accounting policies, taxation etc.
The first of the series was rolled out effectively, in September 2017 , with the first test on Company information. The questions were sent to the staff and the response was encouraging. The team is already gearing up for the next session!
