Shared Services Centre (SSC) Opens…Providing New Synergies for our Group Companies.

As we are all aware, the Thomas Cook India family grew nearly two-fold last year after adding Kuoni Travel (India) Pvt Ltd., both inbound and outbound business divisions, i.e. Sita and SOTC respectively, and also Kuoni Hong Kong. From the earlier base of 3200, we are now truly a powerhouse of strength having over 6000 members.

We have now embarked on a journey of collaboration and synergies, which will herald a new era of growth. We will now focus on identifying new avenues of growing our businesses and revenues to scale new heights. Although we continue to operate in the market under different brands, at the same time we are  leveraging our strengths in terms of operating processes and automation, which can be shared across the companies to delight our customers and internal stakeholders too.

SSC will be operating on the service level agreement (SLA) concept and hence, we expect faster processing times in all processes under SSC. The main objective of SSC is to achieve higher efficiencies by common synergies and automated processes in group companies.

This SSC project will be a game-changer in catalyzing changes in our processes and systems.  Our SSC members have been identified, and will be leading agents in this transformational journey of the Thomas Cook India Group.

In the next step of operations, we will be empowering the SSC with an additional set of key activities to be performed.
